Does this apply for the first server too? If the KVServer is started before ECS then there’s no way for KVServer to tell that ECS has started.

Hi,

The ECS will always start before the KVServer. The KVServer takes the ECS address as a command line parameter (-b flag). The KVServer will not start unless there is an ECS server.
