There is a lot going on with other midterms, iron ring ceremonies, and graduation events between March 4-March 10th and with the size of M2, is forcing many to "hedge" what it is they want to spend time on.
I am requesting an extension for M2 to be due on Friday, March 10th to avoid such hedging and allow students to complete the necessary course work in all of the classes appropriately,

Agreed, I think this will greatly help with completing M2 and other coursework to the best of my abilities.
Following up with teaching team to get an update about this extension given the % of endorsement we have here as well?
My group had a fallout and I am working alone on M2; together with other coursework/midterms happening, an extension would help a ton.
